SDSU Library WebteamTeam MembershipMembership policy: The Library and Information Access Web Team will be comprised of five to seven regular members, and will include both Library faculty and staff. In addition, the Electronic Systems and Services Librarian will chair the group, and up to three technical consultants will act as ex officio (non-voting) members of the team. The terms of the regular members will be staggered, so that each year, approximately half of the members are new. The Electronic Systems and Services Librarian will solicit volunteers to serve on Web Team in November of each year and will work with the Dean of Library and Information Access to fill vacant positions on the team. Upon approval from the Dean, the new membership will be announced and the membership will turn over on January 1 of the new year. If a member drops off of the team before their term is over, they will be replaced for the duration of their term unless there are less than four months left in said term. In this event, the member will be replaced at the time that they normally would have been had they completed their term. In the event that a member must be replaced before their term ends, the same procedure applies as with a regular appointment. Exceptions to this policy may be made for extraordinary situations by a majority vote of the regular members of the committee.
