Collection Development Committee
Functions: Advises the Head of Collection Development on the efficient and economical expenditure of the materials budget.
Documentation: Collection Development Policy.
Membership: Members appointed by the Dean.

Functions: "Committee on committees," call meetings, represent the
body, etc.

Faculty Policy File I-A-1, I-A-2 2.0
Membership: Consists of the Chair, Vice-Chair, Secretary, Member at Large, and
immediate Past Chair of the library faculty. Elected annually by the library
faculty. The election is held between April 15 and May 15. The term of office
is June - May.

Faculty Personnel Committee (General Panel)
Functions: Peer review committee for reviewing and recommending library faculty
members for reappointment, tenure, or promotion.

Membership: Four tenured, full-time library faculty members. Two members are elected annually
in May by the library faculty for a two year term. The term of office is September 1 - August 31.

Functions: To evaluate those library faculty members applying for promotion

Functions: Responsible for spending the reference budget and for making recommendations for new electronic resources.
